I will be leaving RV wef 15 Dec 2009 to join the Ministry of Education HQ. I joined RV on 15 Dec 1999 as her VP, then assumed the post of Principal in January 2003. Come next week, I would have stayed in RV for 10 years. It's time to graduate and move to another place. RV is a very good school and I am blessed to be her principal..
The new Principal is Mr Koh Yong Chiah and I know you will support him as much as you have supported me. I will miss the school and the people. Good-bye!

hey guys.
class chalet will be changed to class bbq because there's a number of people who cannot stay over etc. it's gonna be held at Julia's condo. if you have any other better places to suggest then tell us. it will be held in the evening so people with cca still can come. dates to be confirmed soon. now what if it rains?
there is a shelter, but thing is that if there's a shelter and no cooker it'll be lame right. so does any of you have those portable bbq pit thingys? SMS me if you do!!! also if you have any suggestions for stuff to do or questions, just ask. thanks.

ok first of all, i cannot believe that this blog has 50 posts already.
NOW, for the main point.
since alot of people are confused bout homework
and even more people lost the homework list ._.
i figured out i might as well post it.
LANGARTS:
1` The reading list has been uploaded on IVLE under the folder ELA_YEAR_2_2010
2` Book Sharing Activity: Individually or pairs/threes, we're supposed to share books with a common theme OR promote the works of an author. Individual sharing duration about 4-5 mins, Pair or Threes sharing max. 10 mins. Think out of the box to engage ur audience BLABLABLA. don't ask graded or not, NOBODY KNOWS.
3` My English Companion and Language Quizzes/Assestments: in 2010 we're apparently going to have uber lot of quizzes on language accuracy, grammar, vocab etc. Read the green cover page handout. (this one could be graded) );
4` Commonwealth Essay 2010: don't grumble "why so fast" cos you know time flies. YES, it's about ONE YEAR since we wrote our last commonwealth essay.topics uploaded onto IVLE probably around dec+ so WAIT FOR UPDATES ty :D

1` 窗边的小豆豆 reading: first week of sch there will be a test. (if you cant understand the book just go read the english one. don't say i never teach u)
2` 报章读后感 x 2: ONE from nov and ONE from dec. must be handwritten on gaozhi, cannot type. and the (luckiest/saddest depending on how you see it) thing is that its 300 WORDS.
3` 假期创作: (i dont understand why they say 创作 when there isn't even any 创作 involved -_- apparently last yr seniors needed to write their own lyrics for a song of their choice so we're very lucky alr. anyway must find a CHINESE song that u like alot and write ur ganxiang about it, around 350-500 WORDS and MUST WRITE THE ORIGINAL LYRICS OF THE SONG OUT AS WELL. (handwritten only, no typing).
ETCETC
-apparently there's maths holiday assignments as well but they haven't been put on (ms wong said december didn't she? o.o) so must go check frequently. i'm not sure if there's geog and hist hw as well (keep ur fingers crossed there ISN'T) but there shldnt be science.
-anyway those who are going for big walk dont forget that there is a briefing for walkers on [input date here] (?) someone who knows please come and rectify this post ty.

OH, and we better start thinking of our class name NOW if not we die die liao.
OH, and about the chalet, hmm. still not sure yet cos it's very hard to arrange dates; cos ur dates are quite odd and all that. haiz. if any of you have cca dont be guaikia JUST PON. :D that will really help ALOT.
